People Say 04:06
Who cares if they think you’re wrong or you’re right Because they don’t know you, and they don’t know what you fight It’s a simple thing It’s a simple thing to say It’s a simple game. It’s a simple game to play You don’t care what the people say, people say You’re just doing whatever you feel is right. You don’t care what the people say, people say. You’re just doing whatever you feel is right. Today, today, today. Who cares whatever they’ve got planned Because you know that you hold your fate, your fate in the palm of your hand. It’s a simple thing It’s a simple thing to say It’s a simple game. It’s a simple game to play You don’t care what the people say, people say You’re just doing whatever you feel is right. You don’t care what the people say, people say. You’re just doing whatever you feel is right. Today, today, today. Oh what have they done now, what have they done to anger, anger you. Oh what can you do now, What can you do to speak the, speak the truth. If it’s too much to hear, You’ve got the right to choose. The right, the right to choose. To tell them you don’t care. You don’t care what the people say, people say You’re just doing whatever you feel is right. You don’t care what the people say, people say. You’re just doing whatever you feel is right. We don’t care what the people say, people say We’re just doing whatever we feel is right Today, today, today.

Oh sweet water, cleanses my soul. I sit beside her and gaze into her depths below. She moves like forever, following the moon. Her song is a feather, drifting in on the wind to you. Oh I want to surrender, to her waves cause then, I would never leave this shore again. Oh sweet water, you are the one that holds us together and lets the rivers run. You move with the weather, following the tune of life worse or better, written whichever way you choose. Oh let’s just surrender, to her waves cause then, we would never leave this shore again.

My Way Home 04:23
My Way Home Written by Micaela Kingslight © 2019 In the dark, I was searching for a sign to guide my way back to the place, my heart is reaching. Then I found that all I can see is a far away light. I just need a light I just need a light and won’t you be my light to find my way home. In the day, I was reaching for the clouds to teach me to stay on the path that leads me onward Then I found that all I can see is a far away light. I just need a light I just need a light and won’t you be my light to find my way home.

Dear sister, look at all the weight that’s in your head carrying on for way to long under the weight of your own sad song, it’s time to find another one to sing. Oh dear sister, sister don’t you listen, listen to those voices that tell you you’re not good enough to do the things you want to do, it’s time to change the tune. Dear brother, how long has it been since you’ve seen the sun? You trade your life for a dollar sign, who’s gonna care when you’re out of time? You’re not the only one I see. Oh dear brother, brother don’t you bother, bother with those voices that tell you you’re not good enough to do the things you want to do, it’s time to change that tune. Dear mother, look at all the wisdom in your eyes. The time has come to change our ways make it through to better days, and mother we are one under your sky. Oh dear mother, mother don’t you bother, bother with those voices that tell you, you’re not good enough to do the things you want to do, it’s time to change that tune

Forgive my ignorance I didn’t know, I didn’t know. When you smiled at me, I didn’t think that it would cause me to lose my mind. When the light shines out, my heart made me doubt if I ever had a mind at all. Forgive my silence, when it was over and done. When you set me free, I didn’t think that it would cause me to fall behind. When the light shines out, my heart made me doubt if I ever had a mind at all. Forgive me for falling like a stone into the water of loves game. But I won’t forgiveness for rising up to meet the pain. When the light shines out, my heart made me doubt if I ever had a mind at all.

She wasn’t bothered by the boys or the girls she ate a slice of pie with the side of the world and when they said she could be anything, all that she said was, “I want to be me.” Now she’s lost, she’s lost, she’s lost lost in time. Now she’s lost, she’s lost, she’s lost lost in time. How high do you fly, when you’ve lost, lost your mind. He was the one that she loved, he brought her flowers every day of the week until she had enough. And when he said, we can be anything all that she wanted to do was believe. Now she’s lost, she’s lost, she’s lost lost in time. Now she’s lost, she’s lost, she’s lost lost in time. How high do you fly, when you lost your mind. She took her clothes off in the street. She waved her hands in the air, showed the bottoms of her feet. Then when they said, “you can’t do that thing.” All that she wanted to do was to sing. Now she’s lost, she’s lost, she’s lost lost in time. Now she’s lost, she’s lost, she’s lost lost in time. How high do you fly, when you lost your mind.

I am flowing now, I am flowing now. It just took one hour to be free. I am flowing now, I am flowing now. It just took, one hour to be free. The thoughts that spin my mind, flow away at their own time and I’m back where I belong. Back to the river where we came from. Let’s go back to the river, let’s go back to the river, let’s go back to the river where we came from. Let’s go back to the river, let’s go back to the river, back to the river where we came from. I am living now, I am living now. It just took all my power to be free. I am living now, I am living now. It just took all my power to be free. The worries on my mind, now can only make me smile. Cause I know that all the while, their part of the river where we came from. Let’s go back to the river, let’s go back to the river, let’s go back to the river where we came from. Let’s go back to the river, let’s go back to the river, back to the river where we came from.

Down in the deep, underneath the sea we never noticed it before. There lived a being beyond belief stretching from shore to shore. And the people said, it cannot be true we can never see the end. And the people said, it must be a ruse because our budget’s in the red. There’s a lot to love and a lot to hate but what do we really know? There’s a lot to learn everything in the world but how many lifetimes must it take? It’s a story told many times before that it doesn’t mean much anymore. About a universe, looking at itself but the mirror’s only cracked and distorted. And the people said, it cannot be true we can never see the end. And the people said, it must be a ruse because our budget’s in the red. There’s a lot to love and a lot to hate but what do we really know? There’s a lot to learn everything in the world but how many lifetimes must it take?

1943 04:11
It was morning, 1943 in the summertime when they heard, the news he was coming home after all these years in the war he was a captain of the infantry until the day when he saw too much. Nothing works and nothing does the trick, like coming home after being away for years. When he came home that evening he didn’t know where he was. Every day, he sat in the corner staring at the wall, wouldn’t speak, not even to say hello to his mother as she stood there in the doorway, she began to sing him a song, she’d sing to him at night. Nothing works and nothing does the trick like a song that your mother sang in your early years. When he looked up that moment, he remembered who she was. Nothing works and nothing does the trick, like coming home after being away for years. When he came home that evening he remembered who he was.

Breathe 05:29
Breathing in, sowing seeds we plant a garden with the air we breathe. Mother earth knows what she needs and all the time she’s breathing me. Breathing out all the beliefs that stumble our feet and make us fall Father Sun shines on the leaves and all the trees are breathing in. This is how we breathe together, breathe together this is how we breathe. Breathing in the love that we see for the people we meet to share the air we breathe. All the world sings a melody and sings so sweet as we’re breathing free. Breathing out the darkness and hate that all relate to holding on Sister Moon only wants us to play in the darkness that comes before the dawn. This is how we breathe together, breathe together this is how we breathe. Breathing in, sowing seeds we plant a garden with the air we breathe. Mother earth knows what she needs and all the time she’s breathing me.

We are the water and the water will rise, We are the water and the water will rise. Hear the sound of the Mother’s cries, we are the water and the water will rise. We are the land and the land is free, we are the land and the land is free. all the animals and all the trees, we are the land and the land is free. We are the people and the people will lead, we are the people and the people will lead. All my relations we’ve got to believe, we are the people and the people will lead. We are the water and the water will rise, We are the water and the water will rise. Hear the sound of the Mother’s cries, we are the water and the water will rise.
